Huge congratulations to David Atherton for being crowned winner at this year’s Great British Bake Off. The international health advisor from London remained calm in a nail-biting final in which Holy Lama Spice Drops® played a part.
Judges, Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith looked on and remarked on how chilled David appeared and how, of the three contestants, he was the most relaxed and calm. We think we know why!
As fellow finalist Steph Blackwell worked up a sweat grating the zest of several lemons, fretting over whether or not her illusion cake mixture tasted lemony enough, David was seen to calmly add a couple of drops of Lemon Spice Drops® to his, commenting:
“So, these are Lemon Spice Drops®. Instead of having to sit and zest the lemon, it gives a really intense lemon flavour.”
Made with fresh lemons from India, just two drops of the Lemon Spice Drops® equates to the zest of one whole lemon. They are added by using an innovative dropper which allows accuracy and convenience, no scraped knuckles, and no waste!
Lemon Spice Drops® are made from fresh lemons and are more versatile than lemon oil because they blend easily with any liquid. This means they can add the ‘just squeezed’ taste of fresh lemon zest, intensifying the lemon flavour in any dish without increasing the volume of liquid. What’s more Spice Drops® are made using an extraction process, which has been perfected over 20 years, and ensures the natural goodness of the raw ingredients is retained.
